The Pangira Prize

A term-by-term excellence award for top performers.

Awarded every term at participating schools

About This Bursary

The Pangira Prize rewards academic excellence each term at participating schools. Named after Pangira, the ancestral home of Mzee Okee, this prize recognises the top three students in a class every term. No application is required. Excellence is rewarded automatically.

Mzee Okee was himself a decorated student and lifelong educator who believed performance should be celebrated. The Pangira Prize honours that belief: every child who works hard and excels should be recognised and supported.
